New York Dolls is the first album released by the American rock band the New York Dolls. The album's proto punk sound is mixed with influences of glam rock and rock & roll. It was produced by ex-Nazz whizz-kid Todd Rundgren. In 2003, the album was ranked number 213 on Rolling Stone magazine's list of the 500 greatest albums of all time.The track "Personality Crisis" is ranked #267 on the Rolling Stone magazine's list of "the 500 Greatest Songs of All Time".
